  • Is seen as a leader to clients, to the team, and to all industry partners
  • Is responsible for multiple significant pieces of business
  • Is onsite with clients on a weekly basis, fostering a stronger relationship with day-to-day clients as well as directors, procurement, HCP and/or consumer brand leads, etc.
  • Has the ability to convey complex ideas/solutions to clients in a simplistic manner
  • Is always looking for ways to better serve the client and help them grow their business
  • Is always looking for a new relationship and can effectively speak to Medicx’s core offerings in a manner that is compelling and instills trust
  • Grows senior-level client relationships, identifies organic relationships
  • Maintains previous relationships and leverages those for new opportunities


The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Digital media advertising sales
  • Fluency with digital media-buying terminology, online analytics, research and ad-serving technology.
  • Develop strong client relationships.
  • Call on and speak with potential clients located nationally.
  • Drive new business sales as well as sales to existing client accounts.
  • Coordinate sales/marketing and promotional packages.
  • Share feedback and ideas with sales management.
  • Make sales presentations to prospective customers.
  • Create sales proposals and sales agreements.
  • Negotiate selling terms.


  • Must be educated at BA/BS level
  • Verifiable track-record of sales success with Life Science customers
  • Deep knowledge of the Life Sciences industry (Pharmaceutical & Biotech) with a focus on selling into marketing and leadership areas.
  • Experience developing and optimizing sales processes to meet growth targets.
  • Comprehensive client contacts and relationships within the Life Sciences space
  • Proven ability to establish account plans, engage in positive internal stakeholder collaborations, and deliver on the sales goals, while managing client expectations
  • Track record of personal relationship building
